Introduction
The history of Diamantina dates back to the 18th century when, still known as Arraial do Tejuco, it gained fame with the discovery of precious stones. Even after the decline of diamond exploration sent to Portugal, the city continued to shine, whether through its striking personalities, such as Chica da Silva, the slave who lived like a queen alongside a Portuguese contractor, or Juscelino Kubitschek, its most illustrious son and former president of Brazil. In 1999, Diamantina was awarded the title of World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, gaining worldwide prominence with its untouched scenery of baroque churches, colonial houses, and cobblestone streets illuminated by lanterns.
But Diamantina holds even more charms. Nestled in the lush Serra do Espinhaço, the region is dotted with caves, waterfalls, and an unparalleled natural charm. Furthermore, it keeps alive the tradition of cultural festivals, such as the serenades that gave rise to the city's most iconic event: the Vesperata. Held on Saturday nights, the spectacle transforms Quitanda Street into an open-air stage, with musicians positioned on the balconies of colonial mansions. To the sound of waltzes, boleros, and sambas, the atmosphere gains a unique and unforgettable ambiance, capable of moving any visitor.

Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1 – BELO HORIZONTE / DIAMANTINA (Friday)
07:00 AM – Reception and start of boarding procedures at the JK Tourist Terminal, store 07, located at Rua dos Guajajaras, 1353 - Barro Preto.
07:30 AM – Departure in a microbus or van with onboard service and the accompaniment of a specialized guide. During the journey, relax and enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the road.
Arrival in Diamantina and check-in at the accommodation.
In the evening, leisure suggestions:
Concert of the Historical Organ Almeida e Silva/Lobo de Mesquita at the Church of Our Lady of Carmo – a sacred music spectacle that celebrates the cultural heritage of the city.
Live music at the Municipal Market or in the charming bars of Quitanda Street, where history and authenticity meet.
DAY 2 – DIAMANTINA (Saturday)
After breakfast, the day will be dedicated to discovering the historical and cultural charms of Diamantina, the birthplace of personalities such as Juscelino Kubitschek, Chica da Silva, and Domingos José de Almeida.
The itinerary includes visits to the main tourist and historical sites, such as churches, mansions, and emblematic streets, with a guided walk to provide immersion in the local history and heritage.
In the evening: We will participate in the famous Vesperata, an unforgettable experience. Musicians positioned on the balconies of the houses perform melodies that echo through the streets, while the audience enjoys the spectacle at outdoor tables. A magical moment that celebrates the cultural tradition of Diamantina.
DAY 3 – DIAMANTINA / BELO HORIZONTE (Sunday)
After breakfast, enjoy the charming Sarau Arte Miúda, held at the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi. The event features a repertoire of chorinhos, serenades, and bandstand music, creating an atmosphere of emotion and nostalgia in a historical setting.
Shortly after, we will begin the return trip to Belo Horizonte, with an expected arrival at the JK Tourist Terminal in the early evening.

Installments up to 7 times, with 12% down payment + balance in up to 6 installments or direct installment up to 6 times.
The approval period for the credit card is up to 48 hours. After approval, the sale status will be automatically changed to confirmed.
BANK SLIP
12% down payment + balance paid in full up to 10 days before the trip.
SYSTEM ERROR
When configuring an apartment for two or more adults with two children – one infant (up to 3 years) and another up to 12 years – the system is zeroing the value of both. However, only one child should be free of charge. If this adjustment is necessary, please contact our team for value correction.
ROAD ITINERARY
The day-by-day sequence of the itinerary may be changed for better program utilization.
All tours will be strictly fulfilled.
The number of days indicates only the dates of departure and arrival; the number of nights at the destination prevails.
Minimum of 25 paying passengers for the trip operation.
Possibility of partnership with other operators, which may result in changes to seats and boarding locations, informed the day before the trip via voucher.
In case of cancellation by the operator, full refund.
Child rates are valid only if accompanied by paying adults in the same apartment.
Entry fees to museums, monuments, and parks are the responsibility of the passenger.
This travel program follows laws No. 11.771/2008 (General Tourism Law), 8.078/1990 (Consumer Protection Code), and 2.521/1998.
AIR ITINERARY
The airline tickets included in the package follow specific rules of the contracted airlines. Name changes or ownership transfers will not be allowed after the tickets are issued.
The baggage limit will be informed according to the current rules of the airline at the time of purchase.
In case of delays, cancellations, or flight changes by the airline, the responsibility for rescheduling will be exclusively that of the airline, following the regulations of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC).
Airport and boarding fees, when applicable, are the responsibility of the passenger, unless specified in the package.
CANCELLATION, TRANSFER, AND CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
The refund will be calculated based on the amount effectively received by the CONTRACTED PARTY, excluding:
Withheld commissions (to be handled directly with the travel agent);
Administrative fees and amounts already paid to suppliers.
CANCELLATION FEES
- With 30 days or more in advance: 15% of the total amount.
- Between 29 and 21 days in advance: 20% of the total amount.
- Between 20 and 07 days in advance: 25% of the total amount.
- With less than 07 days from the start date of the trip, an administrative fee of 30% of the total amount will be applied.
In addition to these fees, amounts paid to suppliers for securing reservations will be deducted (transport companies, reception services, and hotels).
Transfer of date or refund for unused segments is not allowed.
In case of abandonment of the trip, there will be no refund.
SEAT RESERVATION
We do not guarantee the maintenance of the seat chosen at the time of purchase, since, in cases of joint operation with another company, it may be necessary to reallocate the seats for better organization of the trip.
Children under 5 years old cannot be transported in panoramic seats. In case of reservation, there may be relocation without prior notice.
It is expressly prohibited to transport infants in panoramic seats. Non-compliance may result in relocation of seats.
Seats 51 and 52 are designated for people with reduced mobility. If it is necessary to accommodate a passenger who fits this profile, we will contact you to carry out the relocation of current occupants, if they do not meet this criterion.
BOARDING
Road: The passenger must present themselves at the indicated location, at the informed time, carrying an original identification document in good condition. Delays are the responsibility of the passenger.
Air: It is the passenger's responsibility to check in advance the check-in time and present themselves at the airport with the necessary documents, respecting the rules of the contracted airline.
DOCUMENTATION
Domestic trips require an original identification document in good condition (ID, Passport, Driver's License, Professional License, or Work Card).
Illegible or damaged documents will prevent boarding.
Birth certificates are not accepted for those over 12 years old.
In case of theft/loss, a police report issued less than 60 days ago is valid.
BOARDING OF MINORS
Minors under 16 years old must be accompanied by parents, grandparents, uncles, or guardians, proving the kinship.
If they are with third parties, written authorization is required, with notarized signature.
If traveling unaccompanied, they will need judicial authorization.
ACCOMMODATION OF MINORS
Minors under 18 years old must be accompanied by a legal guardian or present written authorization with notarized signature.
